Gears of War 3 Easter Egg will take "months if not years" to discover
Gears of War head honcho Cliff Bleszinski has teased gamers about a certain Easter Egg that will appear in upcoming blockbuster title Gears of War 3.
Speaking at Game Developers Conference yesterday, Cliff spoke about the lasting impression of developers putting their own personality into their games.
Whilst discussing the power of Easter Eggs, Bleszinkski expressed excitement over one Easter Egg tucked away in Gears of War 3 which he claims will take fans "months if not years" to unearth.
Cliff added: "If fans don't find it, we'll leak it."

Gears of War 3 Multiplayer Beta Kicks Off On April 25th. Special Editions Confirmed
Microsoft has confirmed that the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta will be setting Lancer chainsaws a-revving from April 25th for everyone, or a week early for
Bulletstorm Epic Edition owners on April 18th. It'll run for almost a month, finishing on May 15th.
Three new competitive game-types will be on offer alongside four maps to sample, which include Old Town and Trenches, as voted for by you on Facebook. There's also an array of unlockables up for grabs for the full version of Gears 3 by playing the beta, such as a gold retro Lancer, Cole's Thrashball outfit, a flaming Hammerburst, flaming Lancer, a flaming Gnasher shotgun, flaming Sawn-Off and a lovely beta tester medal.
What's more, Microsoft has also gone ahead and confirmed special editions for Gears of War 3, with three versions in the offing bundling various collectible extras yet to be revealed. The standard version has an RRP of £49.99, while the Limited Edition will cost around £59.99 and finally the coveted Epic Edition will cost £99.99. There's no word on what each will contain just yet, but rest assured you'll know all about it as soon as we do.
