Note, we did just release a small patch (0.2.2) that you will also need to install.



KNOWN ISSUES



* System Spec - AMD Single Core Processors causing issues/unstable and being investigated (No issues with Dual Core AMD Processors).
* Graphics Card - Shader 2.0 graphic cards currently unstable
* Patches from 0.1.# releases are unstable. Please uninstall FFOW and download the 0.2.0 installer and then use the 0.2.1 patch, then the 0.2.2 patch.
* Uninstalling FFOW – depending upon how many patches you have gone through you may need to manually uninstall FFOW. See the forums for instructions.
* Registry Key/Accounts problems – If you receive any problems with your Registry Key please e-mail AccountSupport@kaosstudios.com immediately. Please include your registry key number in the email.
* Deploying: If all of your teams objective points/launch points have been taken over or gone to the neutral state you may no longer be able to deploy until the round is completely over.



FIXED BUGS:



* Server Memory Leak - In our testing we found that we had a memory leak that would eventually lead to unstable servers and stopping the ability to deploy and launch into games – this should be fixed.
* Server Browser - The server browser will now time out after a period of time so that users no longer have to quit the game when it is stuck in a loop.
* Frontline - A fix has been put in that will fix both the frontline from showing to many objectives and frontline objectives disappearing – this will also fix another deploying issue.
* Logs - documentation has been added to log files for troubleshooting purposes
* UI Popup - New popups have been added to specify the reasons for failed account creations and logins.



WHAT CAN YOU NOT DO WHILE BEING A PARTICIPANT IN THIS BETA TEST?



We are excited to have you involved in this test but the version you will be playing does not reflect the final game. Certain visual and functional attributes are either placeholder content or modifications that are implemented to gather needed data. Because of this, we require you to abide by the following rules:



* No posting of any information about the beta to anyone outside of the beta forums. This includes telling people you are participating in the beta.
* Posting of screenshots, audio, video, logs or other files may only be hosted on private accounts or servers and linked to in the beta forums.
* We are allowing people to use voice chat servers but you must password protect the channels and only allow in other beta players!
* No reverse engineering, adjusting or modifying the code of the game - note that modifying config files could make the beta unplayable!
* No sharing of CD Security Keys with other people. However, the game may be installed on multiple PCs for your personal use.



More detail is listed in the NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and EULA (end-user license agreement) you must agree to before participating in this test.



WHAT IS AVAILABLE IN THIS FIRST BETA?



The initial release will contain early versions of two multiplayer maps:



· Mountaintop - Red Star and Coalition forces battle over a mountaintop that guards a strategic pass below.

· Gnaw – Coalition forces attempt to do what Napoleon and Hitler could not; beat the Russians in the streets of Moscow.



WHAT IS NOT CONTAINED IN THIS FIRST BETA?



This early version beta contains only a small portion of what will be released in the final game.



Not included:



· Leaderboards

· In-game – “Quickcom” communication system

· Air Vehicles (except for drones)

· VOIP (you may use TeamSpeak or any other third party Voice-over-IP program).

· Medals/awards/achievements

· Key binding (will be added in a future beta patch)



Not functioning or disabled:



· Portions of the user interface
