THE FUTURE OF XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIPS

With the advent of the Xbox One later this year, the Xbox Live memberships will be getting a makeover as well. Microsoft has announced that users’ current Xbox Live Gold memberships on their Xbox 360 will transfer over to their Xbox One. Inversely, if one waits to purchase Xbox Live Gold until the Xbox One, it will also work on the 360. In an interview with Polygon, Microsoft’s Phil Harrison reported that “You don’t have to get another subscription”. He continued by stating “If you have an Xbox Gold membership today for 360 and you buy an Xbox One, your membership applies to both systems”.

Another shot of good news is that we will finally be able to use multiple gamertags under one Xbox Live Gold membership. No more logging into your brother’s or dad’s account to play games, missing out on gamerscore, etc. Ben Kilgore of Microsoft told Polygon that even with multiple users you will still have access to your own list of friends and everything associated with your account:

So, in other words, if you are online on your Xbox One you will still be able to communicate with your friend if they are on their Xbox 360. This will include party chat as well as regular messaging. Lastly is the multiple console issue. Although it has not been confirmed officially either way yet by Microsoft, it makes logical sense to believe multiple consoles will be allowed. This is just speculation after all, but if you can go to a friend’s house, log in to your tag and have all your data there, why wouldn’t it work in the next room of your house? Just make sure you have your tag on whatever console the Gold membership is downloaded on FIRST. If you go to another console in your house and enter your tag it should work. Microsoft could restrict it to consoles to prevent you from giving your tag to 50 friends I suppose, but a final answer will come at E3 or hopefully before. Be sure to check back for all the updated information as it’s released.

Ich meinte dass damals gedacht wurde es wäre ein GTA5 Live Action Trailer dabei wars ein Sony Set

In nem anderen Forum meinte einer dass MS da probleme bekommen wird in Deutschland und das Teil (Kinect) möglicherweise gar nicht verkaufen dürfte. Wie verlässlich dass ist weiss ich nicht. Ich mein Laptops haben auch Cams.Die sind aber nicht immer an und sehen mit ( es sei denn sie sind gehacked)

patent ist patent. das bekommt man nie zu gesicht. bin mir sicher.
Sony hat ein Patent für Werbung in Games wirds auch bestimmt nicht geben. also ich halte das für unrealistisch ... aber passieren kann alles

Komischerweise wird vielen erst klar dass das ne miese Idee ist wenn man ihnen ne Tech-Demo vorführt wo den eigenen Kindern nach Erkennung der Altersgruppe passende Werbung vorgesetzt wird. Allerdings wäre das auch bei Erwachsenen Manipulation allerhöchster Klasse.

also ich finde das nicht so krass. aber ich lass mich davon auch nicht manipulieren. werbung ist überall und spricht jedem mal zu ...

Wenn du dich jedoch entscheidest dir ne X1 zu holen gibst du diese Freiheit weg, Klar kann da jeder sagen "ich vertraue MS" (warum sollte man?) aber ich würde eher fragen "Wozu muss das Teil permanent an sein, selbst wenn ich nur ne Blu Ray gucken will?"



/edit: Zu glauben dass du von Werbung nicht beeinflusst wirst ist illusorisch. Das passiert alles sehr unterbewusst.

zum glück gibt es eine alternative

mir kommt diese kinect geschichte auch immer bescheuerter vor. mich nervt zB, dass das ding IMMER AN ist und Strom frisst. klar kann man das lösen, jedoch ist das bei mir nicht so ideal und nicht so wie ich es gern habe
