Epic Games' Rod Fergusson has revealed that an assortment of 21 different weapons skins will be available on the Xbox LIVE marketplace for the Gears of War 3 launch.
Gears of War 3 will have a series of weapon skins that will change how your Lancer, Retro Lancer, Gnasher, Hammerburst and Sawed-off will look. Some of these will be available to unlock as your play through the game. However, another 21 will be available to purchase in sets that are either static or animated.
The static skin packs will cost 240 MS Points ($3) while the animated skin packs will cost 320 MS Points ($4). You can also buy all 21 skins for just one weapon type for 1200 MS Points ($15) though the gnashers and sawed-off weapons are all packed together because the latter doesn't show much.
Finally, Gears of War 3 players can also purchase all of the weapon skins as part of the "Launch Collection" for 3600 MS Points ($45).

Muss mich allerdings erst an das Gameplay gewöhnen und vor allem an die verschiedenen Waffen usw. Hab bisher nur SP und Horde Privat gezockt. Möchte erst ein wenig Erfahrung sammeln und nicht gleich als blutiger Anfänger mit anderen zocken und dann als absoluter Nullchecker dastehen. Ich find das Spiel ziemlich geil und stell mir vor, dass der Horde-Modus mit mehreren zu spielen ziemlich viel Spaß bereitet.
