There had to be more to the Origen website than just a simple 10 second quiz. First the fact that there is still more fruit left on the tree. Then a picture of Halo 2 showed up on the site?


Well, don’t be expecting any Halo 3 announcement but the Origen contest just went from lame to pretty cool. First of all not only 2 people from each country will be going, but possibly 8. The cool part though is that the contest is a lot more interactive than what you did yesterday. Even though your chance of winning isn’t dramatically changed, the fact that you all get to have some fun trying makes all the difference. How do we know this. It started yesterday when one of our readers discovered a hidden picture of halo 2 on the site, now a link to the xml file on the site have emerged revealing tons of details that you are not supposed to know just yet. .


Places 1 & 2
The quiz that was revealed yesterday was just round one, and the fight for place 1 & 2 into Origen. Here you have to answer true or false to three random questions. Get one question wrong and you are out. However, you can refer up to 9 friends and for each friend you refer you get another chance. The two winners will get a trip to the US to celebrate the launch of the Xbox 360 at a big launch party hosted by Microsoft.


Places 3 & 4
In the next round you will get to submit your own Origen rumor. You will be asked to submit a rumor title and details, as well as a picture. The winners here will also get a trip to the US launch party.


Places 5 & 6
This round is the one that makes all the difference. This is a Halo 2 tournament taking place between Oct. 11 - Oct 24, where you will be fighting your way to Origen. This tournament will be a bit different to what you are used to as they will be using the Halo 2 Double Team playlist to determine the two winners.


This is what it says on the website


"There are two Origen places available for this competition, so what better way of finding our winners than by using the Double Team leader board. If you're the top eligible player of the Double Team leader board on 24 October then you and your usual double team partner will be going to Origen."


(Note: It also stated that Portugal and Greece, won't be able to enter this Halo 2 tournament)



Place 7 & 8
What will be going on in this round is still unknown, but being the last round it should be something pretty cool. We will let you know when we find out.


Also you can not only win the trip to the launch party, but you will also be competing for the Origen Treasure. The Origen treasure is a high-end gaming setup worth $10 000. This is what the site says about the Origen treasure.

So there will be a lot more to this site then the 10 second quiz, and we sill don’t know what will be going on in the fight for place 7&8. And for the people living in the US, there are sill two months to go, a lot could happen between now and then…
