Textlich wirklich erste Sahne Soul. Hätt ich nicht gedacht. Kenne sie leider nur aus den Charts.
Aber was ich bei diesen Textinhalten vermisse bei den MSP ist Wut in form von "geschrei" oder auch vom Sound her.
Es ist so als würde eine DeathMetal band über Liebeskummer schreiben, wenn Du weisst was ich meine!?
Für mich persönlich ist RATM das beste Beispiel wie man seiner Wut Luft macht und es perfekt performt. Habe bei manchen Liedern/Texten immer wieder Pippi in den Augen vor Wut.
Die Manics sind halt die größten musikalischen "Mindfucker" unserer Zeit und sich immer treu geblieben, das schätze ich sehr.

Generell sind alle Texte gut, jeder Song ein Protestlied, nicht wie bei anderen mal so ein Alibimist.
Diese Wut wird irgendwann weichen und man ist offener für langsamere Mucke. Mir ist der Stil eigentlich egal, solange ich mich mit dem Text identifizieren kann.
ALso ich finde den Sound von den MSP jetzt nicht mistig, höre ja nun auch Coldplay, aber ich brauche halt Härte ei den Themen.
