Vor wenigen Minuten wurde bekannt, dass die durchaus erfolgreiche Outlaw Serie es in diesem Sinne nicht mehr geben wird. Scheinbar haben sich die Leute von Hypnotix entschlossen, in den sonnigen Californien zu den EA'lern zu gehen.
Find ich sehr traurig, da ich die Outlaw Spiele sehr mochte...
Ein rabenschwarzer Tag für mich und sicherlich auch für diverse andere...

Hello all,



Over the past few months you have been asking us “what’s next for Hypnotix after Outlaw Tennis?” Well as of 7/27/05, I am glad to report that the Hypnotix team has decided to move to Orlando Florida and become a part of EA Tiburon. Yeah that’s right, the same EA Tiburon that is responsible for Madden NFL Football, NASCAR®, and NFL STREET videogames has invited us to join some of the most talented and creative developers in the industry so that we can take our games to the next level. To start things off, the Hypnotix team will help develop and launch EA’s upcoming Arena Football™ franchise as well as other action oriented sports titles. We could not be more excited about what we’ll be able to accomplish with the full resources of EA behind us.




So you might be wondering what this means for you? Well first it means that this website (and the forums) will be shutting down as of today (7/27/05). You may also be wondering what this means for the “Outlaw” games? Though we are extremely proud of our work in creating the series, the franchise is actually owned by MTV Games and published by Global Star. Any future development decisions will be up to them.



I would like to say that everyone at Hypnotix (myself especially) has been so very grateful to all of you for your support over the last few years. We have had a blast making Outlaw Golf, Volleyball, and Tennis. Now we feel that it is important for Hypnotix to move ahead, and there is no better way to do that then by joining the world leader in video game development.




We hope to see you all again very soon, and next time in a great EA game.
